A renovation and rejuvenation of a large Queenslander in Kalinga, Brisbane.

Petrie Architects have been engaged to deliver complete interior design services for another house on Nelson St in Kalinga. Our design team have designed a complete package including the specification of all finishes, fixtures, and fittings to unify the existing house and make the overall house feel connected. Our team produced detailed joinery designs and interior documentation to ensure clearly convey the chosen design decisions.

In parallel, we developed coordinated architectural drawings that tied the existing house together with the new works. This approach resolved disjointed spaces and created a clear design language throughout the home.

The outcome is a cohesive, functional residence that reflects the owners’ lifestyle while achieving a unified architectural and interior identity.
